Not far from here there is someone who has a sign out, Farm Fresh Eggs, $3.00. I decided to go with that theme tonight.
The centerpiece is a mini Radio Flyer wheelbarrow filled with eggs, nested in some of that messy floral moss.
The dishes "Du jour" are City Market by Pfaltzgraff that were a bargain at the Clearance Outlet years ago.
My friend, Alma, The Tablescaper, gave me these adorable covered tomatoes for Christmas. They are made in Czechoslovakia. The napkins are towels from CTS on sale for .99. Pierced plate also from CTS years ago, as is the flatware.
The charger is from Pfaltzgraff.
Green glasses from CTS as are the egg cups. The eggs serve as place cards. :)
Little cow pitchers guard the eggs, also from CTS. The checked cloth I have had for years. Carrot vase is filled with breadsticks.
Salt and pepper shakers topped with veggies are from Savers.
A covered glass chicken holds the butter
Alma also gave me these speckled green and yellow glasses.
I can't wait to whip up a table to use them !For dinner...
Linguine , spinach, ricotta and mozzarella, topped with broiled tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and a dash of oregano.I sauteed some chopped onion and garlic in a little olive oil, tossed in the pasta, fresh spinach, a little ricotta and mozzarella, pepper, and finished with a few splashes of non fat half and half.
I broiled the tomatoes and cheese and placed it on top.

And I can't believe it has been over a month since you were at CTS! I was there a few days ago. I didn't find much and with the exception of some clearance Christmas dishes, I didn't buy any other dishes.

Wow, there are so many things to love about this table. Those tomato dishes are so cute. I love the towels as napkins and your stemware is just so pretty. The glass chicken is so sweet and I can't believe all the deals you get! We don't have a CTS here.

I'm not a big tomato lover when they're kind of whole like that, but those both look AND sound good! How long do you broil them? Do you broil the tomato for a while and then put the cheese on top or do you do it all together? I'm looking to put a few new items into my repertoire! Meanwhile, I love the table, especially the checkered linen! I love green and white checks! They just look so happy and fresh! Everything looks really cute, and I love how you got the inspiration!
You always have such wonderful and unique "themes" for your tables - love the egg idea especially in a wheelbarrow as a centerpiece! The veggies go great and the tomato dishes are perfect. (You have a real soul-mate in Alma!) The green checked tablecloth is a wonderful background for the country look. And naturally, there is yummy food to put on that table! MMMM! Looking forward to seeing what you create to go with those lovely green speckled glasses!

Don"t get me started on how yummy your dinner looks! Um-mm-good! And that table is so charming - how sweet would that farm fresh table be for the kiddies? Take them to a farm or farm stand, and have the whole meal from local sources on that adorable table. I wish mine were a wee bit younger!!

I know I say this every week, but this table is just great!! It's so springy and cheerful. My mind is still in winter mode (even though we haven't had much real winter here, to speak of). Everything on the table is just great. I love the eggs in the mini wheelbarrow, the green and white gingham cloth, the carrot vase and the Phaltzgraff dishes. Those are great gifts The Tablescaper gave you. What a good friend.

Yum!! That looks so good! I love broiled tomatoes! Such a wonderfulf farm fresh table. The green gingham check tablecloth is something I would use a lot! I think those cute plates and bowls would make even the pickiest eaters take a bite of their veggies. And I LOVE yout little yellow hen on a nest. I collect those in blues.
Very glad you are joining in the big clear out. I can't believe that folks there are so picky about when and what you can donate. Here they take it all. Anytime (during their hours of operation). You just drive up and ring the bell and they help you unload the car into a big bin and then they say "thank you" and give you a receipt and you can go on your merry way. They make it easy to donate.

What a darling table setting! Pfaltzgraff has certainly come a long way from the Yorkshire pattern that I collected for a while. So...The Tablescaper's name is Alma! The secret is out! ;-) I do love those covered tomatoes. What fun it must be to exchange holiday gifts with someone who shares the same tablescaping passion as do you.

I just love this tablescape. Going to the Farmers Market is one of my favorite things. I even volunteer on occasion when they need help. What a fun way to bring a touch of fresh food to cold winter days. And dinner looked delicious!

I was out of town last week for the Miss America Pageant and it was all I could do to get something posted so I am catching up with a few. I love your little wheelbarrow and adorable tomatoes. Such beautiful weather. It was beautiful where we were too but now at home it is 23 today and horribly cold.
