Cake looks awesome. I like the fact that you can make it ahead of time in stages. The idea of using the red pillows for napkin rings is totally clever but then again Suffolk girls are always creative:)

Kathleen your mosac is good enough ti eat..lol and the bargains you got at the Christamd Tree shop are fantastic! The little pillow do make beautful napking rings. The pedestal plate and S&P are so nice for such a low price.

I'll have to remember the rebates web site..sounds interesting!

First i love the pear mosiac...I'm going for lunch tomorrow with 6 other bloggers and I heard that the place where we are eating has a great roasted pear salad...so you got me in the mood for lunch...

Nice post shopping queen! Love your buys. I don't think such deals exist in the Pac NW. 17c! I saw those John Deere plates at Ross I think but they most definitely were not 17c! Great mosaic. I think your cake is beautiful and ruffly. Your cakes always look so tall!

I have NEVER seen anything for 17 cents..you're so lucky to hav a great place to shop - I see the CTS shops are mainly on the east coast.. slowly moving to the middle but not fast enough!
